CTO, Mimi

Mimi Hearing Technologies GmbH is a regular customer, for whom we have been working on a web service and Android custom ROMs.

Web Service

We were assigned to rebuild a legacy web service from scratch. Based on our consultation it was decided to us use NestJS, a modern Typescript framework for the new technology stack. It was required for the reimplementation to maintain compatibility with the existing MongoDB and its schemas. The seamless integration of the legacy system and the new system turned out to be the toughest challenge in this project, which we managed gracefully in close cooperation with mimi.

In the course of the project we followed some important principles we shared with mimi like Test-Driven-Development, Scrum and Continuous Integration.

Android Custom ROMs

Our work on the web service convinced mimi to assign another project, in which we integrated their services with the Android Operating System. The most relevant cornerstones were connecting the Android application (written in Kotlin) with their native architecture specific libraries. We were primarily involved in porting the software to new devices and architectures.
